We are seeking a Staff Accountant to be responsible for preparing and maintaining financial records, ensuring accurate tracking of the organization’s assets, liabilities, profit and loss, and other financial activities. Key Responsibilities:Maintain DRC’s general ledger and accounting records in accordance with GAAP.Reconcile cash accounts daily and all balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis.Run the monthly invoicing process within strict deadlines and ensure timekeepers comply with DRC timekeeping policies.Maintain Accounts Receivable, including outreach to clients on aging receivables.Maintain Accounts Payable, including input of invoices, and weekly A/P run.Assist in special Finance projects and software implementations as needed.Financial reporting including weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to DRC’s management team, executive team, and investors.Work closely with the Financial Analysis team.Provide outside auditors with assistance; gather necessary account information and documents to perform annual independent audit.Assist in the preparation of all applicable corporate tax returns and tax matters.Assist Finance leadership with cashflow forecasting.Run semi-monthly payroll.Process travel and reimbursement requests.Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications:A bachelor's degree in accounting is required. MBA, MAcc, or CPA strongly preferred.2+ years of accounting experience, with a preference for experience in a law firm or other professional services firm environment.Proficient with Sage Intact, Microsoft 365 platform and programs, and advanced proficiency with Excel.Experience interacting with private equity investors preferred. Who you are
This internship is for undergraduates majoring in Graphic Design; Advertising Design; Marketing Design; or New Media Design, and seeking experience on a Content Design Team. Reporting into our Brand Design Manager, you will be developing your design sensibilities and strategic creative thinking, and help to build out assets for the organization. If you have work that showcases ad campaigns, social media, editorial work (page layout), platform graphics, banners, potentially branding ideas, etc. those would be ideal. A plus would be motion design, storyboarding, animation and video skills.
This internship will be based out of our NYC office 3 days per week, and one half day remote. Pay rate: $25/hour.

About Vogue Summer School Vogue Summer School invites high school students who are curious and passionate about the world of fashion to experience it first-hand in the heart of New York City—one of the most important fashion capitals in the world. Students will explore a range of topics shaping the industry today and can choose from specialized courses in fashion business, fashion styling, and fashion media. The program, which consists of four 2-week terms across June and July, will provide students with direct access to fashion-world professionals, and faculty will host daily live sessions. Faculty-guided tours of notable industry sites in NYC will bring a firsthand experience of the fashion world. All courses are taught by fashion industry experts in collaboration with teaching professionals. Job Summary On a daily basis, Academic Specialists observe classes and provide pedagogical feedback to Vogue Summer School academic staff to help strengthen the overall student experience. As additional adults in the classroom alongside each section’s Instructor and industry expert lecturers, Academic Specialists are a crucial organizational support for the teaching team. Academic Specialists provide back-up instructional support for two courses, assisting in tutorial sessions during the morning and afternoon. Academic Specialists chaperone class site visits alongside the Instructor and are responsible for wayfinding and safely and effectively managing class travel. After the end of each term, Academic Specialists review and revise evaluations of students written by faculty to create a common tone and ensure a positive, constructive, student-centered approach. Qualifications A Bachelor of Arts degree in a relevant field is required; a graduate degree (obtained/in progress) or professional experience is recommended. Additionally, Academic Specialists should have at least two years of assistant teaching experience or one year of experience as a lead teacher with some experience teaching or editing writing, ideally within a fashion, arts, or humanities context. Travel with students to and from class field trips, providing supervision and guidance on travel itinerary throughout. Map out subway routes for trips to and from campus and between locations, in collaboration with the Instructor and a fellow Academic Specialist. Assist Instructors in documenting attendance and student-specific concerns using the Orah app, following app best practices and promptly reporting any issues. Serve as on-call faculty support as needed, including but not limited to serving as backup instructor in case of faculty absences. Other duties as assigned, including any requests made by the Programming Team, Lead Instructor and Instructor team that help facilitate the classroom experience for students.
