The RA will provide approximately 10 hours of service per week over the course of a semester. The RA will help facilitate online research training modules in Moodle, recruit diverse undergraduate students using inclusive practices, manage CHEER Lab undergraduate researchers, provide feedback to students, help lead weekly meetings, engage in program evaluation activities, and meet regularly with Dr. Van Wasshenova.The RA will be required to attend all CHEER Lab weekly meetings (Fall 2025: Wed 12pm – 1pm) and Winter 2026 (Wed 12pm-1pm), in addition to meeting with Dr. Van Wasshenova.The RA should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, reply promptly to faculty requests, the ability to work independently and in a team environment, and be highly self-motivated. A background in health science research is preferred. Interested students should submit a resume, and a brief cover letter outlining their interests and experiences related to this position.
