This candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and hands-on interdisciplinary program, including guiding students on special projects related to engineering, design, machine learning, and computational thinking, facilitate the design and implementation of curricular innovation project(s), and shape experiential learning in the CIS such as Upper School courses, March Term offerings, Middle School electives, and Focus Day activities. This role includes teaching, program development, and partnership with various departments to integrate active-learning and innovative practices into the curriculum. They will collaborate with the Dean of Experiential Education on the internship program, the Director of Summer Programs around community outreach and engagement, the Academic Dean to enhance partnerships and professional learning with colleagues across disciplines, and the Advancement Office to develop mentorship events with parent and alumni leaders in STEM + Economics fields. They are also responsible for managing the space, budget, tools, and programs associated with the CIS while overseeing scheduling, safety, and personnel. In addition to these responsibilities, staff have the chance to apply for and serve as part of our residential life team which would include dormitory housing. CORE QUALIFICATIONSWe seek an experienced candidate who demonstrates strong experiential and project based teaching, interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
