Join our dynamic team and contribute to capturing the dynamic energy of Tampa Bay's diverse event landscape through video!Department: Marketing & MediaSupervisor: Darnell Macapinlac, Creative Event ArchitectDuration: At least a semester-long internship or open to longer.Objective: To gain practical experience in video production, from filming live events and promotional content to editing and preparing videos for various platforms.Responsibilities:Assist with planning and executing video shoots at a variety of our approximately 20 monthly events.Operate video cameras, audio recording equipment, and lighting.Capture high-quality video footage of event highlights, interviews, and promotional content.Assist with storyboarding and script development for event-related videos.Edit video footage using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) to create engaging content that showcases our diverse event offerings.Add graphics, text overlays, and music to videos, ensuring brand consistency.Optimize videos for different social media platforms and website use to promote our events and services.Organize and maintain a digital library of video assets.Collaborate with the marketing and social media teams on video projects that highlight our various event capabilities.Learning Outcomes:Demonstrate proficiency in video camera operation and audio recording techniques in live event settings.Apply principles of cinematography and visual storytelling to capture the essence of diverse events.Utilize industry-standard video editing software effectively to create compelling event-related content.Understand the video production workflow from pre-production to post-production within the context of a busy events company.Develop skills in video optimization for various online platforms to maximize event promotion.Collaborate effectively within a marketing and media team to support the promotion of approximately 20 monthly events.Build a professional portfolio showcasing their video production skills in the events and entertainment industry.Qualifications:Currently enrolled student at the University of South Florida, preferably pursuing a degree in Film, Video Production, Digital Media, or a related field.Experience with video cameras and related equipment.Basic knowledge of video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar).Creativity, attention to detail, and a strong visual eye for storytelling in the context of live events.Ability to work independently and as part of a team, often in dynamic event environments.Reliable and punctual with a flexible schedule to accommodate event timings across our monthly schedule.

    Overview:The Associate Lab Technician is responsible for working with the flavor scientist in creating new flavors and flavor technologies to meet the customer’s goals and preferences.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Flavor compounding and sampling under direct supervision and direction of flavorists.Participate and/or set up sensory evaluations.Prepare raw material and finished flavor samples.Conduct physical tests to confirm flavor specifications by using and operating analytical equipment.Follow and adhere to all safety and other policies/procedures.Perform all other duties/responsibilities assigned.Education and/or Work Experience and Other Requirements:Associate’s degree in chemistry or associated field preferred. Bachelor’s in food science, Chemistry or other associated disciplines strongly preferred.Experience in a technical position in flavors preferred.Computer literacy and communication skills are required.Physical Requirements:Must be able to lift 20 pounds and be able to stand a significant amount of time while in the lab.
