Why Join CSU-WATER SOURCE as an Executive Committee member? Water challenges in California are complex, and solving them takes collaboration. That includes YOU, the next generation of water professionals.
Join a diverse team of graduate and undergraduate students from across CSU campuses focused on career development, research, and regional water issues
What You’ll Do on the Executive Committee:
- Plan and attend monthly or quarterly Zoom meetings to discuss current CA water events.
- Help create community water education materials with CSU-WATER and partner agencies.
- Encourage cross-campus collaboration and share opportunities with your campus community.
- Plan and participate in local excursions (local hike, dinner, trivia event).
- Help build and benefit from a CSU water-focused alumni community.
- Expect to spend about 5–10 hours participating in these duties per month.
What You'll Gain:
- Represent your CSU campus as a Student Lead, gaining experience in outreach, coordination, and event planning.
- Showcase your leadership and outreach in grad school and job applications.
- Meet leaders in water agencies, industry, research institutions, and government.
- Join a CSU-wide student community committed to water solutions, plus peer-to-peer mentoring and collaboration.
