Apply Now for Summer Internships at Sandia National Laboratories

As part of a Department of Energy RENEW grant, we have internship opportunities at Sandia National Laboratories exploring quantum information science and technology. Example internship projects include Characterizing a Broadband Electro-Optical Modulator for Trapped Ion Quantum Computing, Artificial Intelligence for Brain-Computer-Interfaces using Atomic Magnetic Sensors, Exploring Topological Material-Based Device Physics, Designing and Building an Optical Switchboard for Trapped Ion Atomic Clocks, and Creating Accessible Materials to Introduce Quantum in Underserved Communities. The internships are in-person and are only open to CSU students. Participants must be an enrolled undergraduate student at any CSU campus, able to relocate to Livermore CA, or Albuquerque NM depending on project ($1500 relocation assistance available), and be able to work 40 hours a week for 10-12 weeks between May and September 2025. Interns will be compensated $30/hour. More information is in the attached flyer.
